Monday, 26 September 2022, the food technology department was officially sending off students for internships in PT. Tronti Indonesia and CV. Cita Nasional. The send-off ceremony was guided by Food Technology lecturer Dr. Rafli Zulfa Kamil, Hega Bintang P. P., M. Sc., and Setya Budi M Abduh, Ph.D., a PIC for the PKKM program. The Head of the Department of Agriculture (Dr. Heni Rizqiati) and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (Dr. Limbang Kustiawan) gave their speech to encourage all students to take this opportunity as a life-changing experience. Students have the chance to sharpen their critical thinking through hands-on and solve problems in the industry.
This internship is arranged by the food technology department and fully supported by the PPKM (Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka) program in collaboration with the industrial partner PT. Tronti Indonesia and CV. Cita Nasional. Students will have experience producing dairy products, such as mozzarella, ricotta, pasteurized milk, and yogurt. Before carrying out the internship, students first obtained enrichment courses as a provision from food technology lecturers and practitioners from industrial partners. It is hoped that after internships, students can graduate with more experience and be ready to enter the world of work.
